Going to Tim’m West’s Front Porch event (the first one in Dallas) at Sterling Hotel last night inspired me to blend my own musical idea of what I felt and heard. Two groups in this mix were there last night. You can catch photos here. Of course, Tim’m himself starts this mix with a new track collab with J-Boogie Dubtronic Science called, “Dirty”.

Next is a 22-year old Detroit artist, Randy Murphy, bringing hip-hop and a fun electronic soul groove with the track, “The Golden Age”. You can find this track and J-Boogie Dubtronic Science at eMusic, but you knew that.

Jianda brings a cool vibe to any mix I make and the track, “Wax Fantastic”, is definitely no exception.

J.A.P.A.N. and Apollo, also known readers here as The Qure, gave a hot show at The Front Porch last night! Be on the lookout where ever you see them in concert. Here’s a track that I featured in their interview, “Revenge”. The boys rocked this live! Cop their mixtape via their MySpace page.

Flowing next is “The Life” from Madlib’s latest set of goodies, WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip.

I’d been hearing a lot about Sarah White and the track, “Fade”, from her project Hiding Blind has been admittedly been an earworm of late. As the track builds rhythmically, it makes me wonder what a remix of this track by either Burial or 2562 would sound like.
